This is a help and tips forum, so I decided we need to provide help and tips. Anything you want to add? Post below and I'll add it to the list.

Intro:

This is a guide to Contract Wars!

Contract Wars (CW) is a First Person Shooter (FPS) currently in an alpha development stage, and is based in Russia. This is a more futuristic game where 2 private military forces are fighting for control over different tactical locations. The armies at war are the USNC and the BEAR militias.

In the beginning, you will be given a short tutorial on how the basics of your "main screen" work. You will buy a Kedr using CR (Credits) and then you will enter your first Deathmatch.

Controls:
Controls are important.
a=left
d=right
s=back
w=forward
v=knife
g=grenade (with skill)
1=secondary
2=primary
3,4=support (if have)
Left mouse button (LMB)=shoot
Right mouse button (RMB)=aim
Scroll=change weapon
Shift=walk
c=crouch
space=jump
t=team chat
y=world chat
tab=scoreboard
`/~= Command line?

Note: People in-game are always in a constant state of "sprint" therefore making walking for aiming / sneaking purposes invaluable (a.k.a needed) Walking also removes the sound of your feet on material.

Options Menu:

The options menu is where you can change the game's resolution and quality. Here, you can also modify your controls and change your in game name (ign).

Contracts:



SP:

SP (Skill Points) can be acquired from either leveling or completing contracts. They are used to upgrade your character in 5 different trees:

1. Scout
2. Assault
3. Sniper
4. Destroyer
5. Gunsmith

Be careful what you spend your SP on though, for you cannot reset the trees without using GP.

CP:

CP (Credits) are used to buy normal weapons, and help buy special skills in the 5 previously mentioned trees.
These can be granted through completing contracts, earning exp, and simply logging into the game each day.


GP:



Game Modes:

There are currently 4 game modes that have been implemented into Contract Wars:
Deathmatch (DM)
> The Normal "every man for himself." Get the highest score to win.
Target Designation (TD)
> Much like a "bomb defuse" game.
Team Elimination (TE)
> More of a Team deathmatch, TE is special due to each team getting a "VIP"
> VIPs have 1000 health, are always seen on radar (unless in HC), and give extra XP to who ever kills them plus an additional 40 xp to your team.
Tactical Conquest
> 2 teams, capture the points. A Team Domination match. Simple as that.

Hardcore:

Hardcore (HC) is simply a harder version of CW. Everyone playing on HC has a higher XP gain, higher damage, traumas, no shown health or ammo, no radar (unless a kill streak is used), and the same perks as everyone else.

It looks really good from the start. Maybe you should try to add more color to it. Anyways, I have a few suggestions. How about making o/ editing a topic about Contract Wars wiki?
This is my suggestion, not to edit or anything.

Nice job with it so far, hope it becomes better on and especially since it was stickied.
